Training & credentials
After completing his MD, Dr. Ashish Jindal trained at PGIMER Chandigarh. He holds fellowship recognition from the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) and the American College of Physicians (FACP), and is EULAR-certified in rheumatology. He is also trained in musculoskeletal ultrasonography, which he uses in the clinic to confirm diagnoses and guide treatment.
How I practise
Rheumatic and autoimmune conditions are often subtle, overlapping and slow to reveal themselves. Many patients spend months — sometimes years — being treated for general aches before the underlying condition is recognised. My focus is on reaching a precise diagnosis first, then building a treatment plan around it, and staying with each patient through the long course these conditions can take.
Alongside clinical practice, I teach and mentor the next generation of physicians as Faculty at AIMS Mohali, and I share plain-language patient education through the podcast and on social media — because an informed patient is a better-treated patient.
